Water Skiing is for everyone!
…And Water Ski & Wakeboard Canada wants to help your club make its activities more available to skiers who have different types of mobility limitations.

With the Kan Ski, getting those who may have difficulties using traditional water ski equipment and techniques up on the water suddenly becomes a possibility.

Water Ski & Wakeboard Canada has 2 skis available for rent a Kan ski freedom and a Kierstead beginner. Both are beginner skis with adaptations that make it possible for people with a variety of mobility challenges to get up for a tow.

WSWC has prepared a tip sheet with some basic technical information that will get you started. This will be supplied with the ski. Information about the level of ability of your skier is also required. This is easily obtainable by speaking with the individual. With these basics, you and your participants can work together to adapt the activity as necessary.

Rental Rates

The Kan Ski is available for only $10.00 a day plus shipping charges. Cost for shipping will vary depending on your location. Water Ski & Wakeboard Canada will be happy to provide you with specific rates. Failure to return equipment will result in a $500 penalty fee. A $25 per day late fee will also be charged if equipment is not returned by the agreed upon date.
