The Super Ski Race of Montréal (Canada)

The Super Ski Race is a 140km race starting at Montréal and ending in Longueuil. The St-Lawrence River plays host to this event where teams power down the river to Sorel and then up to the Port of arrival in Longueuil.

Southern 80 (Australia)

As its title suggests this massive race takes place over 80km of the winding Murray River in the town of Echuca in Victoria, Australia. It has become the most well attended race in the world.

Catalina (USA)

It's been called "The Greatest Water Ski Race in the World" and has been going on since the 1940's. Huge race boats tow skiers out to Catalina Island and back to Long Beach. This is the one race that every skier doesn't want to miss.

Pubmart Bridge to Bridge (Australia)

The Hawkesbury River is host to the original big race in Australa. This race is one where many an Aussie racer first wet their feet in the sport. Hundreds of skiers come from all over the world for this great event, just outside Sydney.

Grafton Bridge to Bridge (Australia)

This 108km race in the town of Grafton in Northern NSW, is challenging for both man and machine. Set on the Clarence River, racer's hurtle down the river and back reaching speeds in excess of 115mph.

Diamond Race (Belgium)

The famous Diamond Race in Viersel is held on the Albert canal. It has been said to be the most grueling water ski race in the world with rough waves and a very narrow waterway.

Giro del Lario (Italy)

This event has teams race around the edges of lake Como, an hour outside of Milan. It's possible that 2003 was the last year for this race.
